Adrian Andestad

March 17, 1932 ~ September 27, 2010

Born in 1932 at home in Wynndel to Reidar and Georgina Andestad, Adrian lived and worked the majority of his life in Wynndel and the Creston Valley.

He worked with West Kootenay Power first as a lineman in Crawford Bay and later in the administration office of WKP in Creston, retiring in 1994. Prior to retirement, Adrian and Margaret operated Alpine Apiaries for several years turning his extensive knowledge of bee-keeping into a home business.

Adrian had a life-long love of airplanes and had much enjoyment building his own planes and as a member of the Creston RC Model Airplane Club.

In later years he endured the loss of his independence to Alzheimer’s Disease with great courage.
