Jason Neil Beaudry is back in custody after breaking his court-ordered conditions on Monday night.

“We received a report on Monday night that he was in a dispute at a someone’s residence,” RCMP Staff Sft. Bob Gollan said this morning. “When police arrived at the scene he ran, issued some threats, then smashed a window in the house to escape.”

Police located the multiple violent and sexual offender on Wednesday morning and arrested him. Beaudry is scheduled for a bail hearing in Cranbrook’s provincial court this afternoon.

Beaudry took up residence in Yahk after serving his most recent prison sentence. Among the conditions he was subject to was an order not be outside of his residence while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
