February 8

•A resident of the 600 block of Canyon Street reported losing a wallet and identification cards at an unknown location.

•A parent reported that his child had been chased by another child bearing a weapon in an elementary school.

•Police served notice of a driving prohibition to a resident in the 600 block of Kootenay River Road.

•One passenger was taken to hospital to be checked following a collision at the intersection of Hillside Street and 16th Avenue.

•A resident of the 100 block of Fourth Avenue North reported an email account had been hacked into.

February 9

•When police were asked to conduct a well-being check in the 1000 block of Hillside Street, they found the resident to be okay.

•Police determined that an ownership dispute over a computer was a civil, not criminal, matter.

•A resident of the 500 block of Macleod Street complained of harassing phone calls from a collection agency.

•A driver talking on a cellphone was reported on Northwest Boulevard.

•An intoxicated male causing a disturbance in the 300 block of 27th Avenue North was taken into custody under the Mental Health Act and transported to hospital.

•Police were unable to locate a vehicle reported to be involved in possible drug activity in the 100 block of Seventh Avenue North.

•An intoxicated male in the 200 block of 19th Avenue South who threatened to harm himself was taken to hospital, then held in police cells overnight and released when sober.

•The subject of a well-being check in the 6000 block of Kitchener Road turned out to be okay.

February 10

•Police mediated a dispute when a resident in the 1600 block of Riondel Road complained about a neighbour blowing snow onto vehicles.

•Notice of a lifetime weapons prohibition was served on a resident in the 500 block of Aldrich Road.

•A landlord in the 1900 block of Elm Street requested information about how to remove a tenant from a property.

•Police served a subpoena to the 3600 block of Masuch Road on behalf of an Edmonton court.

•RCMP members were called to assist a bylaw enforcement officer in the 400 block of Seventh Avenue North.

•A female in the 400 block of 16th Avenue North reported receiving threatening text messages from another female.

•An intoxicated male in the 300 block of 16th Avenue North was arrested for assault. He was held in police cells overnight and released with a date to appear in court.

February 11

•A female in the 800 block of Balsam Road was given information about having a peace bond placed on a male.

•A landlord in the 1900 block of Elm Street was directed to the appropriate agency in his quest to remove a tenant.

•A female reported receiving unwanted telephone calls from another female.

February 12

•A male in the 100 block of 38th Avenue reported that a female was contacting him despite the fact that he had posted a peace bond that requires no contact with her.

•No injuries were reported when a driver backed into a vehicle in the 2200 block of Riondel North Road.

•A male was reported to be yelling and making threats in the 5900 block of Birch Avenue.

•Minor damage occurred when a 2001 Acura went off Highway 3 in the 4200 block.

•Property was recovered from a male and female who stole from a business in the 1000 block of Canyon Street.

•A minor injury was reported following a collision in at Highway 3A and Boswell Road. A driver who veered and struck a car waiting at a stop sign was issued a traffic violation ticket and both vehicles were towed.

February 13

•A male reported to be panhandling in the 1100 block of Canyon Street could not be located by police.

•Minor property damage occurred when a Ford F-150 pickup went off the road at Highway 3A and Peters Road.

February 14

•Happy Valentine’s Day. Police served a subpoena to a resident in the 4400 block of Canyon-Lister Road on behalf of Cranbrook RCMP.

•A male in the 400 block of 16th Avenue North reported losing a wallet containing identification cards.

•Mailboxes were pushed over in the 4200 of Canyon-Lister Road.

•A male in the 8600 block of Highway 3 reported that he might be the victim of identity theft, the result of losing a wallet a couple of years ago.

•Police are investigating a possible theft at a local business.

•A female reported being harassed by her ex-husband.
