RCMP say a 14-year-old Riondel boy has been found.
They issued an appeal yesterday to locate Jackson Keefer-Wilkinson.
His aunt said he boarded the ferry early Wednesday at Kootenay Bay and was spotted around lunchtime in Nelson near the Chahko Mika mall but ran when a police officer called his name.
