Creston RCMP have issued a Canada-wide warrant for Jason Neil Beaudry.

The RCMP have their man. Again.

Jason Neil Beaudry surrendered in Cranbrook on Tuesday morning after he became the subject of a Canada-wide arrest warrant last week.

Beaudry, 33, was wanted for breaking and entering, obstructing justice, uttering threats and three counts of breaching recognizance orders issued last year when he was released from jail.

“Beaudry will appear in court today in Cranbrook to answer to his latest charges,” Creston RCMP Staff Sgt. Gord Stewart said on Tuesday. “We wish to thank media outlets and the general public for bringing Beaudry into custody.”

When the arrest warrant was announced too late to make last week’s issue, the Creston Valley Advance put Beaudry’s photo and information on the newspaper’s website in an effort to inform readers of the search. Stewart said the widespread media advisory was initiated because of concerns about public safety.
