With water levels no longer threatening homes, an evacuation alert for Peterman Road in West Creston was lifted on Friday, said a Regional District of Central Kootenay press release.
Peterman Road, however, remains closed and the alternate route off Smith Road, where traffic control remain in place, is being used.
Residents should continue to be watchful around creeks, streams and their banks during runoff, said the release.
