Twenty-five candidates have announced that they will run in the Nov. 19 elections in the Creston Valley.

If you’re looking for a chance to hear what Creston’s candidates for mayor and council have to say, there will be a forum held on Nov. 12 at Rotacrest Hall from 1-3:30 p.m.

Organized by a group of residents concerned that there was no question-and-answer forum planned for this election, the two mayoral candidates and 13 council candidates have been invited. Confirmed attendees are Joanna Wilson, Ed Vondracek, Rhonda Barter, Ingrid Voigt, Renee Kyle and Justin Lysohirka.

The group has already developed a list of question to ask candidates, and further questions can be added prior to the Q-and-A portion, said organizer Tamara Fox.

For more information, search for Creston Town Council Forums on Facebook, where candidates are already responding to questions in an online forum.
