The morning of Oct. 14 was a busy one at the Creston Education Centre gymnasium, as students from Canyon-Lister Elementary School, Homelinks and Adam Robertson Elementary School joined forces on a Stream of Dreams project, which focuses on keeping watersheds and drains clean so that all — even the fish — can enjoy clean water.

Laurel and Brian Ewashen (CLES) and Laurie Riehl (Homelinks) started planning this venture last spring and appreciate the contributions of Wynndel Box and Lumber and Home Hardware Building Centre for their contributions of wood and primer, and Tiffany Gorham for cutting out the fish templates.

The final project, a fish mural, is designed for the community to enjoy, and it can be seen on the Centennial Park fence facing Erickson Street.
