Creston RCMP responded to 61 calls for service from Feb. 28-March 5, Staff Sgt. Bob Gollan said on March 5.

March 1

•When police arrived at Ash Street to check on the well-being of a female resident, they found her outside shoveling snow.

•A male who was found with “minor puncture wounds” at an Elm Street residence was taken to hospital for treatment, but refused to co-operate with a police investigation.

•A person banned from a business on Highway 3 in Erickson returned to the site and was verbally abusive to people on the premises.

•A minor collision on Dogwood Street resulted in under $2,000 in damages.

•A wallet found on Northwest Boulevard and turned over to police has been returned to a very grateful owner.

•A hockey helmet found on Highway 21 can be claimed at the police station by its owner.

•A warning letter has been sent to the owner of a cream-coloured Volvo that passed a stopped school bus on Northwest Boulevard.

•Police were unable to locate a vehicle reported to have nearly collided with a pedestrian on Canyon Street. The pedestrian wasn’t found either.
