Creston RCMP responded to 57 calls for service from Jan. 16-22, Staff Sgt. Bob Gollan said on Jan 23.

January 20

•Two males who fought on Seventh Avenue South had minor injuries, but refused to co-operate with a police investigation.

•A fire truck was slightly damaged on Highway 3A when it was struck by a semi. It is believed the semi driver was not aware that contact was made with the fire truck.

•Police were unable to locate the source of a 911 call from Samuelson Road.

•An elk had to be destroyed after it was struck by a vehicle on Highway 3 near Arrow Creek Road.
