Creston RCMP responded to 61 calls for service from Feb. 28-March 5, Staff Sgt. Bob Gollan said on March 5.

February 29

•An intoxicated male who was found on Simon Road was held in police cells until sober.

•Two vehicles were damaged in collision at Cedar Street at 11th Avenue South in icy road conditions. No injuries resulted but one vehicle had to be towed.

•Minor damage was reported when a vehicle going uphill on 11th Avenue North slid backwards on an icy road and hit a parked vehicle.

•No charges were laid after a minor assault occurred in a dispute between two intoxicated females on Dogwood Street.

•A semi went off Highway 3A north of Wynndel and landed on its side in the ditch, losing a load of fertilizer. Gollan said the accident might have been caused by a blown tire. No injuries were reported.

•Two males fighting at an Elm Street residence were arrested and held in police cells until sober.

•A mobile home burned to the ground on Robson Road in Wynndel. No occupants were in the residence at the time.
