Kootenay Employment Services was a busy place yesterday, when over 115 job hunters had walked through the doors by mid-afternoon, seeking employment at the Ramada Inn, which opens next month.
The numbers were more than KES management expected — even higher than the 2010 job fair to hire Tim Hortons employees — and so many that Ramada sent an extra interviewer. Interviews, which were expected only to be held yesterday, were carried over to today.
