The Creston Valley Hospital held its annual pumpkin carving contest on Monday, when pumpkins on display in the lobby were voted on by staff and visitors.

After the votes were tallied, the lab earned second place (up from last year’s third), the pumpkins by med/surg/pharmacy and dietary tied for third, and the X-ray department earned first place for the second year in a row.

Honourable mention went to the administration’s display of the world’s smallest pumpkins.
