A 29-year-old Creston man faces charges of production of a substance and possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking following a Creston RCMP raid at his house on Friday morning.

Harley White was located in his residence in the 800 block of 16th Avenue North when police forced entry into the house to execute a search warrant, Cpl. Monty Taylor said at the scene. He was arrested and brought before a justice of the peace. White also faces charges on two firearms related offences under the Criminal Code.

Two hundred plants were seized from the residence, along with a collection of marijuana-growing equipment

White was released on bail with conditions and is scheduled to appear in Creston court on June 18.
