Judy Gadicke’s Grade 4 class from Adam Robertson Elementary School visited the Royal Bank on May 5 to deposit the final round of donations collected to contribute through the Red Cross to victims of the March 11 Japan earthquake and tsunami.
In total, $1,350 was raised by the school, where students collected nickels, dimes and quarters — not to mention a 50-metre stack of pennies — that were rolled by the Grade 4 class.
