Creston Valley Thunder Cats drop both games on opening weekend

Cheer on the team this Friday on home ice

The Creston Valley Thunder Cats had a tough start to the season with two at-home losses.

On Friday, Sept. 20, the opening weekend began with a 5-2 loss against the Kimberley Dynamiters. The following night, the Thunder Cats were again defeated by the Beaver Valley Nitehawks 3-1.

The team is back in action on Sept. 27 when they welcome the 100 Mile House Wranglers to the Johnny Bucyk Arena at 7:30 p.m.
