Interior Health has issued a drug advisory for the West Kootenay.
The health authority says Down is being sold with high concentrations of fluorofentanyl, which is equal or more potent than fentanyl, and bromazolam, a type of benzodiazepine that can’t be reversed with naloxone.
The drugs are being sold in different shapes and colours.
Interior Health’s alert is in effect until April 25.
