Snow is expected Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 in Creston.

Due to inclement weather conditions, the Town of Creston is re-opening the emergency warming centre tonight.

The centre provides a safe, warm, dry refuge for anyone who needs it, located in the old ambulance building on the former Fire Hall property at 138 10 Ave N. There is access to washrooms, a seating area, as well as complimentary snacks and refreshments. All community members are welcome.

The emergency warming centre will open this evening, Jan. 31, from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. and remain open for six nights until Thursday morning, Feb. 6.

Operations may be extended depending on weather conditions.
