The Kokanee Pub is offering a burger with a Yorkshire pudding bun for Burger Month.

Foodies rejoice - there's even more reason to go out for a bite to eat in February.

The Creston Valley Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Buy Local Creston, is hosting the first official Burger Month.

Local restaurants are competing with their own special burger creations to compete for the best tasting, must unique, and best presentation awards. The winners will be determined by community votes.

And not only will residents benefit from enjoying tasty eats, but every vote will count towards a chance to win one of 75 gift cards worth $20 to spend at one of the winning restaurants. A burger must be purchased to enter.

The 12 participating locations in Creston include Kokanee Pub, Jimmy's Pub, Bindoya Meats and Treats, Rick's Iron Kettle, Busaba Thai, Julio's Lounge, The Brunch Club, Casey's Community House, Bayleaf Indian Fusion, and Boro Boro in partnership with Wild North Brewing Co. From Crawford Bay, Newkey's Place and Ladybug Cafe are also joining the competition.
