The Creston Community Band is excited to spread festive cheer at the annual Christmas concert.
On Monday, Dec. 9 at the Kootenay River Theatre, the concert will start at 7 p.m., with doors opening half an hour prior. Admission is free but donations will gladly be accepted.
Expect to be treated to seasonal favourites, a few new arrangements, and, of course, sing-along tunes for everyone's enjoyment such as This year, some enthusiastic newcomers are also ready to join the fun - introducing the Farm Band.
The band will also play at Crest View Village on Dec. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m., bringing the joy of song to the community's seniors.
If you're a music lover, Creston Community Band encourages anyone to join, whether you are a seasoned musician or just want to learn how to play. The dedicated director, Monte Anderson, along with the entire band, invite you to come and try out. Rehearsals are on Monday evenings at the St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church hall, 306 Northwest Blvd., from 7 to 9 p.m.
