Kick off summer with fresh strawberries and cream at Yasodhara Ashram’s annual Strawberry Social from 1-4 p.m. June 22. This community gathering is now in its 18th year!
Join with friends and neighbours, hear the upbeat rhythms of the Many Bays Band, and pick up great bargains at the used book sale. Proceeds from the book sale will go to the East Shore Ambulance Auxiliary. Wander the grounds, visit the temple and take a look at the ashram’s new mobile hoop house and lavender garden. Check out the big top tent in the kidzone for fun and face painting.
The ashram celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and the Strawberry Social is an opportunity to celebrate together. All are welcome, and there is no need to RSVP.
