On Dec. 6, the 20th annual Santa Claus Parade takes place, starting at the Creston and District Community Complex, and turning onto Canyon Street at 16th Avenue and continuing through downtown to 10th Avenue.
The Creston Valley Chamber of Commerce is still seeking entries in the parade. It is free to participate. This year it is offering a prize of $250 in gift certificates to a local merchant (of the winner’s choice) for the parade entry that is judged to have the best display of community spirit. Participate by decorating your car, your golf cart or yourself. Entry forms are available at www.crestonvalleychamber.com or at the chamber of commerce.
