In celebration of International Darwin Day, the Creston and District Public Library presents the documentary film What Darwin Never Knew.

This PBS Nova production reveals answers to the riddles that Darwin couldn't explain: What actually drives evolution and turns one species into another? How did we evolve?

Embark on a journey from the Galapagos Islands to the Arctic, from the Cambrian era to the research labs of today, where scientists are finally beginning to crack nature's biggest secrets at the genetic level.

The film runs at 1 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Creston library. Admission is free, and the running time is 112 minutes.
