The Canyon Community Association is holding its first arts and crafts fair from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. June 7. Quite a few booths have entered already, with more to come.
The main attraction will be Paul Dawkins doing his concrete sculpting on-site all day. People can watch him at work, just like they watched him doing that sand sculpture at the Ramada Hotel. The day will also feature entertainment, such as Peanut Butter and Jam, and a full concession by Simon Lazarchuk.
Tables are $12 and there will be a $1 entry charge at the door. Proceeds will go toward new sound equipment for the Canyon Hall, which is now renovated and lookin’ good!
