On Saturday, there will be a free showing of the film, You, Me and the SPP, which explains the Security and Prosperity Partnership agreement secretly entered into by the current prime minister of Canada, the former president of the U.S. and the president of Mexico.

“This agreement affects us all,” said a release by the organizer. “It is corporate-driven and it threatens the sovereignty of all three countries through the integration of military, security and regulatory regimes. Without the public's knowledge or approval, without the involvement of parliament, steps have been taken that could make our parliamentary democracy become an empty shell.”

The 90-minute showing of this documentary will be held on April 23 at 2 p.m. at the Creston and District Public Library.
