Forks Over Knives will be shown at the Creston and District Public Library on Oct. 22.

The Creston and District Public Library resumes its Don't Leave Your Mind Behind film series on Oct. 22 with the showing of Forks Over Knives. This 2011 documentary examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting animal-based and processed foods.

This showing is free of charge and begins at 2 p.m. in the library conference room.

The Don’t Leave Your Mind Behind series profiles current films that are thought-provoking and conversation-inducing. A variety of topics have been chosen for the 2011-2012 season. For more information, contact the library at 250-428-4141.
