Creston’s ZenWords Zen Centre will be hosting another Crescendo in the Zendo, featuring Strings Attached (Audrey Johnson and Sophia Smith) in an intimate evening of cello/piano repertoire favorites spanning four centuries of music, with classical and popular gems of each period.
Only 30 tickets are available for the Sept. 15 concert in the zendo, an intimate venue with excellent acoustics.
This concert is an excellent one for the location.
“There’s an affinity between the building and the cello,” said Zen monk Kuya Minogue, who runs the centre.
