Glynnis Hood will be making a presentation as part of Wildsight’s spring series.

As part of the spring 2012 series, the Creston Valley branch of Wildsight will be hosting Glynnis Hood and her audiovisual presentation, “Beaver Tales”, at 7 p.m. Feb. 21 at Rotacrest Hall.

Hood, originally from Creston, has worked for 19 years as a park interpreter and warden in the national parks of Alberta. She has studied wetland ecology extensively and has written the book The Beaver Manifesto available at Black Bear Books.

She is to be featured in CBC’s The Nature of Things in the fall.
