When you were a teenager, your parents probably told you to Get a Job. Now after years of working for the money, you may have felt the urge to tell your boss to Take this Job and Shove It.
Approximately 75 local skaters will participate in the Creston Valley Figure Skating Club’s annual ice show, Workin’ Nine to Five, a 90-minute extravaganza featuring the daily grind.
“The skaters have been working hard all year, and are really looking forward to showing off their skills,” said coach Fairlite Rogers. “The ice show is a lot of fun, for us and the audience.”
The show takes place on March 2 at the John Bucyk Arena. There will be two performances, at 1 and 5 p.m. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students and seniors.
From farmers to miners, hairdressers to mechanics, there will be a number for everyone!
