About 1,500 spectators attended the annual demolition derby near Kitchener on May 20, during the Creston Valley Blossom Festival.
Twenty-four cars were entered, with some competitors coming from as far away as Fort McMurray and Drayton Valley, Alta., and Clearwater, B.C.
Lyndon Franzreb of Cranbrook won first place, while second went to Cranbrook's Logan Brash and third went to the Elk Valley's Jeremy Rusnak.
