This osprey by Robert Bateman will be part of John Neville's 'Raptors of Canada' presentation.

BC Nature president John Neville is giving a presentation, Raptors of Canada, at the Creston and District Public Library from 7-9 p.m. Sept. 18.

A recorder of bird songs, Neville has, with the kind permission of Robert Bateman, linked the images of Bateman’s fabulous paintings with his authentic sound recordings. He captures the audience with his vivid descriptions of the special biological features that allow raptors to be successful birds of prey.

Raptors of Canada is a 60-minute presentation of nature sound recordings amplified for a large audience. Neville has produced 11 CD regional guides to the bird songs of Canada. He has just published Bird Songs of Eastern Canada and he is just starting work on Bird Songs of Canada.

Admission to the Creston presentation is by donation. For more information, visit nevillerecording.com.
