Vintage Movie Night runs the second Thursday of each month at the Snoring Sasquatch, and this month’s movie is the 1964 science fiction-horror classic, The Atomic Brain, on May 12.

In the film, a crotchety old heiress keeps a mad scientist employed in her basement working on a plan to transplant her brain into the body of an unsuspecting young beauty.

The Atomic Brain is one of my favorite camp classics,” said Sasquatch volunteer Jason Smith. “Plus, it teaches you so much — like how dry ice is radioactive and tin is the best insulator against gamma radiation.”

As usual, the popcorn will be popping when the doors open at 7 p.m. and a Lone Ranger short will precede the feature, which starts at 7:30. Entry is by donation.
