For a fourth year, Tim Hortons held a successful Smile Cookie campaign, again raising $5,040 for the Creston Valley Hospital Tuck Shop, and delivering the cheque on Oct. 31.

“I would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s campaign such an overwhelming success,” said Creston Tim Hortons manager Scott Seitz.

The Tuck Shop is run by volunteers, who raise money to support health care at CVH.

Nationally, Tim Hortons owners support more than 500 charities through the annual Smile Cookie Fundraiser. Last year, the campaign raised $5 million in communities with a Tim Hortons.

Funds from last year’s Smile Cookie campaign helped to furnish a new private room at the hospital.

“Supporting the Creston Valley Hospital Tuck Shop through the Smile Cookie campaign to purchases much-needed equipment for the local hospital ensures that the funds raised in our community stay in our community,” said Seitz. “I think that’s something we can all share a smile about.”
