The annual Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign took place from Sept. 17-24, and thanks to the efforts of the team and Tim Hortons and volunteers from the Creston Valley Hospital Tuck Shop, over 5,040 cookies were sold.

“All of those Smile Cookies seem to stare back at you by the end of the week,” said Creston Tim Hortons manager Scott Seitz. “But by far it’s the smiles I see on the faces of the Creston Tuck Shop ladies that makes it all worth it. That because we know this funding is helping our local hospital.”

This is the third year that the two organizations have worked together to bring either a piece of equipment or some kind of patient comfort to the Creston Valley Hospital. The chunky chocolate chip delights this year are seeing the $5,040 being allocated to furnishing a room at CVH. (Last year's campaign raised $3,500.)

The Tuck Shop wishes to thank all those that supported the campaign and for continuing to show Seitz and those at Tim Hortons that Creston is a place of giving and is truly making a difference in health care, one cookie at a time.
