The Creston group of the Taoist Tai Chi Society presented a cheque for $494 to the Therapeutic Activation Program for Seniors during their Christmas lunch.

Besides making Tai Chi available to everyone to improve their health, both physical and mental, and their sense of well-being, another of the aims of the Taoist Tai Chi Society is to help others. At a recent fundraising dinner that featured a silent auction and tickets on gift baskets donated by society members, as well as local businesses, it was wholeheartedly decided the money should be given to this worthwhile local charity whose work improves the lives of 65 of our Creston seniors.

The Tai Chi society extends its appreciation to Golden Herb Health Foods and Dewey Roastem and Howe for their generous support.
