Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church is pleased to announce the arrival of new lead Pastor Stephen Schneider, his wife, Carmen, and their children, Gabriel (8), Jordan (5) and Trinity (3) to the church and community.
Schneider has been a pastor since 2002, serving in a variety of roles as a youth, children, worship and associate pastor. He is a passionate worship leader using his guitar, and has enjoyed the privilege of training other worship teams in different churches as well. Schneider has lived in the region for nearly seven years, and has a deep love and passion for the Kootenays. His family enjoys local recreation, beaches, agriculture, parks and culture, and is looking forward to meeting families in the Creston Valley.
The community is invited to the Sept. 8 Sunday morning services starting at 10:30 a.m., as well as children’s ministry classes for 2-5 and Grades 1-6 class. Services will be followed by a picnic at Centennial Park. For more information, call Glad Tidings at 250-428-7418.
