Erected in late 1944 or early 1945, this monument above stood next to the post office, listing Creston Valley residents who volunteered for service in the Second World War.
Creston Museum manager Tammy Hardwick sent the photo to the Advance with the hope that a reader might be able to explain what happened to it — the monument’s fate is currently unknown.
