Yearly launch passes for the Kuskanook Harbour Society boat launch are now available for $40 at Wynndel Foods, which has, for a number of years, extended the Society the courtesy of using its facility for the distribution of these passes, a great benefit to both the society and boat operators of the area.
Fees for the yearly launch pass and moorage in the Kuskanook marina have remained the same for many years. At the annual general meeting in November 2010 it was recommended by the membership that these fees be raised.
Costs to maintain the harbour have greatly increased since the fees were first established. The launch dock was completely replaced last summer at considerable expense and other improvements are ongoing at the harbour as time and weather permit.
Day launch passes and voting memberships in the society, both $5, are also available at Wynndel Foods. To vote at November’s AGM, memberships must be purchased by April 30.
