To celebrate the United Church of Canada’s 90th anniversary, churches across Canada rang bells at 10:30 a.m. June 10. Creston’s Trinity United Church has a bell choir that rang out two songs while members watched under the shade of a tree.
The United Church began when the Methodist, Congregational and Presbyterian churches amalgamated; the Evangelical United Brethren joined later, in 1968.
