ReMax Discovery Real Estate agent Sylvia White recently presented Canyon-Lister Fire Department volunteer firefighter Fred Hoogenboom with $635, the proceeds of a raffle ReMax held this spring.

The CLFD will combine the donation with the proceeds of other fundraisers to buy a specialized wildland pump (about $4,000-$5,000), which will help fight wildfires in the area.

Prizes in the raffle included the grand prize, a Wildfire Automated Sprinkler Protection (WASP) kit, donated by ReMax, a Tigz gift basket (first), a Memories of Indian Cuisine certificate (second), and one of three Morris Flowers baskets (third).
