Laura Leeder's Cup of Hope will be auctioned at the Pink Garden Tea.

If memory lane moments are your cup of tea, then the upcoming Pink Garden Tea spa is for you.

Delicate teacups filled with fragrant and tasteful delights of the signature tea, Royal Wedding by Harney and Sons, accompanied with finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones topped with mouth watering jam, ending with an array of lovely desserts will welcome you at the fourth annual Creston Pink Garden Tea, which has been dedicated to supporting cancer-related causes.

A visit to the Pink Garden Tea spa is like a mini-vacation, a place of calm refreshment when time stands still for a little while. Enjoy a cozy English country garden atmosphere while sipping on fine quality tea in lovely vintage teacups and the Old Country Rose china and listening to the music of Jane Austin in the background.

Watercolour teacup artist Laura Ledeer will have her latest painting, the Cup of Hope, up for auction to the highest bidder, as well as cards for sale. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Quilt of Hope will also be on display.

Tea is on July 27 with two seatings: a luncheon high tea at noon, and afternoon high tea at 2:30 p.m.

The tea will be held at 1102 10th Ave. S., so follow the pink ribbons on Goat River South Road off Highway 21. Admission is $13, and reservations are essential — call Debbie Graham at 250-428-7182 for more information.
