The Creston Valley Thunder Cats held their fifth annual Stuff the Bus food drive on Oct. 1 and 2. Over a period of 18 hours, the team collected eight full grocery carts of non-perishable items and $1,066.58 in cash donations for the Creston Valley Gleaners Society food bank. This year’s donations (both food and cash) were double last year’s totals.
The Thunder Cats hold the food drive just before Thanksgiving so that all families in our area that need the assistance of the food bank won’t go without for the holidays.
