The Creston Valley Thunder Cats are hosting their fifth annual Stuff the Bus food drive. This year, the goal is not only to stuff the team bus but fill the food bank just in time for Thanksgiving. Players will be set up to collect donations at Overwaitea Foods from noon-6 p.m. Oct. 1 and 2, and noon-6 p.m. Oct. 1 at Extra Foods.
This year the Cats are adding a challenge to all the businesses in town. Any business that donates goods or cash can provide their business card for a special drawing for four game tickets to the Oct. 12 game.
Creston is a wonderful community that pulls together and supports one another. The Thunder Cats organization is proud to be a member of this community and want to make things better for families who have fallen on hard times. Let’s join forces against hunger and fill the bank!
