Creston Valley Thunder Cats conducted the team's annual drive to collect non-perishable items and cash for the Food Bank last week.

It has become a tradition for members of the Creston Valley Thunder Cats Junior B hockey team to participate in a food drive for the Creston Valley Gleaners Society Food Bank. This year was no exception as players donned their jerseys and canvassed for donations.

“Their efforts are very much appreciated,” said Dorathy Pfeifer, a Gleaners volunteer.

Delivery of items collected was made last Friday, along with nearly $900 in cash, that will be used to supplement Food Bank stocks.

As winter nears, the food bank welcomes donations of cash and non-perishable items. Every little bit helps.
