The Creston Valley Shrine Club recently made a donation of $623 to the East Kootenay Foundation for Health (EKFH). The regional hospital foundation stewards funds for the pediatric unit of the Creston Valley Hospital.
The Creston Shriners have been very active over the years, with various projects all with of a focus of helping children. The club can often be found around Creston hosting popcorn sales and also at major events such as Canada Day, the Creston Valley Blossom Festival and other various parades. The Shriners conduct other fundraising activities throughout the year.
