Creston Valley Public Library chief librarian Aaron Francis is making a CD of children’s songs and nursery rhymes to be donated to new parents in the library’s Books for Babies package.

He recently visited Lorraine Doeleman’s Adam Robertson Elementary School Grade 3/4 class to record the students singing some tunes that they learned for their Roots of Empathy baby, Miya Takeda Fischer.

Roots of Empathy programs recently ran in three Creston Valley schools: ARES, Erickson Elementary School and Crawford Bay Elementary-Secondary School.
