Creston Valley Farmers’ Market vendors and shoppers showed their generosity on Saturday when an auction raised $1,200 for the family of Garrett Sorenson, a two-year-old Creston boy who is undergoing treatment for neuroblastoma, a form of cancer.
Hennie Webster of the Nutty Bavarian spearheaded the event, in which vendors donated items to the auction, which were sold off by auctioneer Alex Ewashen, author of the memoir, Rags to Riches... My Way.
