The Golden Flour Bakery is asking for donations to help well-known resident Dave Terleski.

Terleski can be seen around the Creston area picking up litter year round. Unable to sit for very long due to a back injury, the result of years working in a scrap metal yard, Terleski finds walking a source of relief from his constant pain. While out on his daily walks Terleski picks up garbage, cans, and bottles. Terleski has the cans and bottles taken to the recycling centre where the refunds are donated to PAWS.

Recently Terleski has found some relief working with Creston acupuncturists Dove Sprout co-owner of Creston Valley Acupuncture Centre. Terleski is now able to move his head from side to side something he has not been unable to do for years.

The Golden Flour Bakery put out a call on social media asking for donations on Terleski’s behalf to continue his visits to Creston Valley Acupuncture Centre. “If you were ever looking for a way to say thanks to Dave, a donation to his acupuncture fund would be greatly appreciated for his continued improvements in mobility!” said Liza Thorne owner of Golden Flour Bakery.

To make a donation to “Dave’s Acupuncture Fund” visit Golden Flour Bakery 1025A Canyon Street.
