Cheston Palmer won the first prize of $25 in the Canyon Community Association’s Don’t Litter poster campaign, created to raise awareness of the littering that has been going on near the Canyon Bridge over Goat River on Canyon-Lister Road.
Honorable mention went to Hunter Everett. All 33 entrants from Canyon-Lister Elementary School received a coupon for a Dairy Queen treat.
