Blossom Valley Singers present A Celtic Christmas

This year the Blossom Valley Singers have brought an old-world charm to their winter concert, sharing with you “A Celtic Christmas”. You will hear exciting music inspired by the Irish ceilidh and fueled by the fiddle. Ballads as lonesome as the Scottish Moors, sparkling music that rolls through the green hills, ringing with the sound of bells and joyful voices. The Choir takes traditional Christmas melodies and uplifts them through beautiful Celtic renderings.

You will hear old classics such as Away in a Manger, along with music from Enya, and perhaps even songs you’ve not yet heard! Directed by the fantastic Anita Stushnoff with her trusty piano accompanist Monty Anderson, and joined by a host of fabulous musicians showcasing everything from the Violin and Cello to the Penny Whistle and Bodhran. No show would be complete without a set of epic bagpipes, played by the fantastic Gordon Titsworth from the Trail Pipe Band.

So don yer kilt and click your heels with the Blossom Valley Singers at the Prince Charles Theatre at PCSS Friday the 14th of December at 7:00 pm, Saturday the 15th at 7:00 pm, and a matinee on Sunday the 16th at 2:30 pm. Refreshments will be served at intermission, by donation and served by the United Church members. Tickets may be purchased at Black Bear Books and are $15 for adults and $8 for Students 12 and under.
